Community Involvement
MY Cars has been a part of the local community for many years. We have been involved by either supporting local charities and organizations or being a part of bringing fun and exciting events to the community and area. By shopping with us, we are working together to support community groups and keeping the Central Coast unique. Here are some great events MY Cars have been a part of and thank you for your business otherwise we wouldn't be able to contribute and invest in these great causes and events in the place we call home!

6th Annual Monterey County Veterans Day Parade
Marina, CA
Thank you to the Veteran's Day Committee from the American Legion Post 31 for putting on a great parade and recognizing My Nissan’s participation as a sponsor! Our GM and Army veteran, Brian Verdin, accepted the honor in contributing to the 6th Annual Monterey County Veterans Day Parade Honoring Veterans if behalf of My Nissan. We thank all veterans for their service.
CA Rodeo Association Fireworks Show
Marina, CA
The CA Rodeo Association and City of Marina were excited to celebrate Independence Day on July 4th with a fireworks extravaganza, presented by MYCars.com, at the Marina Sports Complex. It was a FREE community event that will include vendors*, entertainment and more. Over 12,650 people came out to the Fireworks Extravaganza. The MY Cars and the CA Rodeo Marina was proud to be a part of the Marina Community and to offer safe firework entertainment for the whole family to celebrate the 4th of July.
Food Bank for Monterey County

MY Cars is proud to be a donation spot for collecting food for the Food Bank for Monterey County . Suggested food items that the food bank collects are: Canned Tuna & Chicken, Soups, Beef Stew & Chili, Peanut Butter, Macaroni & Cheese, Pastas, Spaghetti, Rice/Beans, Canned fruits, Canned Vegetables, Meat Sauce, Cereal, Oatmeal, Powered Milk and 100% Fruit Juice Boxes. To help give, come by one of our 3 stores to donate!
Toy Drive for the Boys & Girls Club
Marina, CA
Thanks to Alex, from Mag One Productions , for bringing a box to our MY Nissan Kia store to collect toy donations for the Boys & Girls Club in Marina . The cost for children to attend the club, keep kids in a safe environment and to grow in many positive ways can be high. We wanted to be a part of giving back to the kids and their families who are in need at this time!
Tatum's Garden

Tatum's Garden is Monterey County's first fully inclusive and accessible playground, where children of all abilities can play! It is located at 1 Maryal Dr, Marina CA 93906! Recycle-A-Ride
Marina, CA
Central Coast News KION and Malone's Collision. Inc. plus other sponsors (including us) were a part of picking a winner for the Recycle-A-Ride Contest! Congrats to the lucky family and props to Malone's Collision and KION for their awesome service to the community! We also included an extra $40.00 Fuel Gift Card too!
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Marina, CA
MY Chevrolet brought together various fundraising events including a softball tournament, Bingo night, and other great fundraisers. We collected donations for the local chapter of the American Cancer Society! Thanks to everyone who made donations, sponsored the events and volunteers for coming together to help our local community! Together we raised $4,162.66!
